Advanced level. Pre-professional when taking full program. Age 12-15+
Students will be placed into this level upon completion of a placement class.
The program is designed for determined students, considering to move towards being a professional dancer. This program meets professional ballet artist’s preparation requirements. The program includes Classical Ballet Technique, Body Conditioning and Stretching, Pointe Technique, Contemporary, Character Ddance and variation classes consisting of 12 hours of class time weekly, and minimum of 8 weekly hours.
Advanced level (Grade IV-V by A. Vaganova, Advanced by RAD) Continued development of stability. En tournant movements in the center. Demi and Grande fuettes. Tours in Grand poses, turns in the center and diagonals. development of the plasticity and flexibility in transitions from one pose to another, advanced adagio form with changing tempos, development of elevation in grand jumps.
Students entering this level must have prior experience in Ballet training and ballet skills needed to keep up with the program
