Level 8A. Age 12+

Level 8A is designed for experienced students who are ready for serious, high-level training in classical ballet and contemporary dance. Students in this level are on pointe and continue developing the technical strength, artistic maturity, discipline, and versatility needed for advanced dance education.

The program supports students who want to progress toward pre-professional training, auditions, competitions, and future dance opportunities. Students with less experience but strong motivation and a desire to learn are also welcome. Training together with more advanced and dedicated dancers creates valuable motivation, inspiration, and opportunities for faster growth.

The program includes classical ballet technique, pointe work, contemporary and modern dance, body conditioning, stretching, character dance, repertoire, and variation classes.

Students are encouraged to explore their individual strengths in classical ballet, contemporary dance, or both. The level brings together dedicated dancers with different goals and abilities, creating a motivating environment for continued growth.

Many students in this level have achieved strong results in U.S. and international competitions. Individual coaching may be available for students preparing solo variations, competitions, auditions, and performances.

Placement in Level 8A is determined through a successful placement meeting, which may include an individual consultation and a recommended training plan for the school year. Students must have prior dance experience and be ready to work with professional self-discipline.

The full program is strongly recommended. A flexible program may be available after evaluation.
