Elementary Level Summer Intensive. Age 6 -11

A Ballet Intensive for younger students.
During 5 hours of daily learning, dancers of Elementary level will experience class in Ballet Technique, Variation, Contemporary, Modern, Stretching & Strength. This rich and engaging summer program will surely increase each child’s interest in ballet and will allow for full immersion. Classes are from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There will be a performance on July 25 for dancers to demonstrate what they have learned.
Pricing:
1 week: Before March 1: $425.00. After March 1: $475.00
2 weeks: Before March 1 $800.00. After March 1 $900.00
Ballet Camp. Age 6-8
July 14 – July 25
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
The Ballet Camp is tailored for children new to ballet. Dancers will embark on a journey of Ballet, Music, Art, Theatre, Gymnastics, and Strength exercises. Classes will be held from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There will be a performance on the last day of the camp for the dancers to demonstrate what they have learned.
Pricing:
1 week: Before March 1: $425.00. After March 1: $475.00
2 weeks: Before March 1 $800.00. After March 1 $900.00

ELEMENTARY LEVEL DETAILS
This program focuses on ballet fundamentals, coordination, and body stability. Students will learn Barre, Center, Jumps, Pre-Pointe, Epaulement, Turns, Character Dance, En Face, and Contemporary. Character dance will include Spanish and Slavic styles, arm and foot positions, and jumps. Students will learn a classical compulsory variation. Improvisation and contemporary dance classes help improve coordination and musicality.
Your Commitment: 1 or 2 weeks (5 hours every day M-F), and the studio performance/recital at the end of the Intensive.
Dress Code
Girls: black leotard with straps. Pink tights and pink canvas ballet slippers. Black canvas character shoes. Black knee length skirt. Bring a notebook for taking notes.
Boys: White short-sleeved T-shirt, black bike shorts or tights, white ankle socks – students may wear any plain thin white socks, white ballet slippers. Bring a notebook for taking notes.
Intermediate Level, age 8-12

9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
5 hours of Ballet, Pointe, Variation, Contemporary, Modern, Stretching & Strength, and Character Dance. Students will be split into two groups based on age and ballet experience. Minimum attendance is 2 weeks.
Class will be from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. There is a performance on the last day of the Intensive.
Pricing before March 1:
2 weeks $1,300, 3 weeks $1,500
Pricing after March 1:
2 weeks $1,380, 3 weeks $1,620

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL DETAILS

Advanced Level, age 10+ (with audition)
June 23 – July 11, 2025
9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
6 hours of Ballet, Pointe, Variation, Contemporary, Modern, Stretching & Strength, and Character Dance. Minimum attendance is 2 weeks. Students will be placed into two groups based on age and audition.
Classes will be 9:30 AM-3:30 PM daily, Mondays through Fridays, and the recital will be the last day of the Intensive.

ADVANCED LEVEL DETAILS
A precise, rigorous and passionately creative training program with Ms. Egle Spokaite and Master Teachers, designed for motivated dancers. Classes offered: Ballet technique, Body strengthening and stretching, Pointe technique, Character Dance, Contemporary, Variation, Ballet repertoire.
Your Commitment: 2 or 3 weeks (6 hours every day M-F), and the studio performance/recital at the end of the Intensive.
Dress Code
Girls: Black leotard with straps. Short skirt (optional). Pink ballet tights. Ballet slippers, pointe shoes, black character shoes, black character skirt, contemporary socks or slippers. Bring a notebook for taking notes.
Boys: White short-sleeved T-shirt, black bike shorts or tights, white ankle socks – students may wear any plain thin white socks, white ballet slippers. Bring a notebook for taking notes.

CORE TEACHERS of SUMMER INTENSIVE

Nicole Perez
Guest Master Teacher. Contemporary. Choreography
Multidisciplinary, free-spirited choreographer, modern dancer, dance teacher with her own unique path that we hope will inspire the students to seek their own individualities. Nicole blossomed out of Miami’s culture scene where she trained in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop and ballroom. Nicole has been seen on America’s got talent, Youtube series One Shot, and has also danced on The X-Factor

Katia Anishchenko
Ballet Teacher
Katia was born in Russia and graduated from Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet as a Master Teacher. At the same time, she started her ballerina’s career at the Mikhailovsky Theatre – one of the most prominent ballet companies in Russia, based in Saint Petersburg. For several years Katia toured the world as a soloist of the company, and in 2021 settled in Florida to become a head teacher at a Ballet School, where she already fostered several finalists of YAGP and ADCIBC

Egle Spokaite
Artistic Director
Prima Ballerina of the Lithuanian National Ballet and Opera Theatre. During her 21 year as principal soloist, she was a guest principal soloist at Boris Eifman ballet, Finland ballet, Latvian National Ballet, Gala at Bolshoi Theatre, Mariinsky Theatre, Teatr Wielki (Polish National Ballet). Egle is the founder and Artistic Director of Ballet Institute of San Diego.
