Intermediate  II program

 

Students will be placed into class upon successful completion of a placement lesson.

 

Program is designed for students who want to learn ballet seriously, to move towards being a professional dancer. Flexible program students alowed to this group after evaluation meeting and confirmation of minimum requirements. This program meets professional  self discipline requirements. The program includes; Classical ballet technique, Body conditioning and stretching, Pointe technique, Contemporary,  Character dance, Variation classes that consisting 12 hours per week.

 

Intermediate (Grade II – III by A. Vaganova, Intermediate by RAD) is based on the basics of ballet exercise, beginning demi-pointe exercise barre and center, accelerated pace work, and a greater quantity of movements including the basic steps of allegro and Pointe technique.

 

Intermediate II level has group of students who listed as multiple International competitions winners worldwide. Technical requirements will be based by this group possibilities. 

 

 Students entering this level must have prior experience in Ballet training and will be placed into this class upon successful placement lesson.

 

Girls:

Burgundy  Strap leotard. Can be purchased from BISD

Pink Tights
Pink canvas ballet slippers

Boys:
White short–sleeved leotard
Black  High Waist Dance Legging
White ankle socks – students may wear any plain thin white socks
White ballet slippers

 

 

Monday 4:30 –  6:30 pm Ballet & Musical theatre

 Tuesday 5:00 – 7:30 Ballet & Contemporary

 Wednesday  5:00 – 8:00 Ballet & Pointe & Stretching

 Thursday 4:30 – 6: 30 Ballet & Character Dance

  Friday ( not included in the program, classes will be based by request )  4: 30 – 7:00 Ballet & Variations

 Saturday 10:00 – 12: 30  Ballet + Pointe

 Flexible schedule available by hours, from 1 hour per week and more. Please inquire with BISD administration. To go (and win) comeptitions on behalf of BISD at least 8 hours per week need to be attended.

 

 

 

1 quarter: 8 weeks session

 

Full Program 12 hours a week  –   $800 per 8 weeks quarter ( $100 per week, includes the discount for registered students).
