Ballet Summer Intensive

We group students by age and skill level for finding the best in every student ! As it should be done

  • July 3 – 21 Primary level. Ages (7)8 – 10
  • July 10 – 21 Intermediate levels I – II. Ages 11 – 13
  • July 31 – August 11 Pre-Primary level. Ages 5-7
  • July 31 – August 11 Intermediate III & Advanced levels. Ages 12+

July 31 – August 11, 2017 Pre-Primary level. Ages 5-7

Classes run from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm daily (Mon-Fri), July 31 –  August 11, 2017,  Studio performance/recital will take place on August 11, 2017.

Tuition: 1 week $200     2 weeks $ 300

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.

vidine pagrindineSummer Camp for children – the journey into the Ballet World Enroll your child for a wonderful week of movement-based creativity. Camps include 5 days, 6 hours daily of engaging activities such as Ballet, First Ballet Variation, Ballet Body Conditioning, Character Dance and Tap, Music, Drawing, and Stories of ballet history. There will be a final in-studio presentation/recital for the parents on the last day of camp.
Age range: 5-6, and 7 for beginners.

 

Girls: Tank or short sleeves leotard; color – white (white is preferred, but any light color leotard is acceptable) White ankle socks – students may wear any plain thin white socks White ballet slippers Boys: White short – sleeved leotard Black bike shorts White ankle socks – students may wear any plain thin white socks White ballet slipper

Tuition: 1 week $200     2 weeks $ 300

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.


July 3 – 21, 2017  Primary level. Ages  (7)8 – 10

Week July 3-7 week is additional. Intensive course classes of the first week will be held if there is enough interest.

Classes run from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm daily (Mon-Fri), July 10 – 21, 2017,  Studio performance/recital will take place on July 21, 2017.(There are opportunities for extended care until 5 pm)

Tuition: 1 week $300     2 weeks $500   3 weeks $700

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. Extended care is additional to the fee.

Youth Ballet Programhealth and beauty in the future. Classes: Ballet technique, Body strengthening and stretching, Character dance, Rhythmic, Improvisation, Dance and a professional photo shoot. All students accepted. The photo (see example) or video (preferable) 5 – 7 minutes will help us to recommend the age group for the student.
Age range: (7)8 – 10. The age group will be recommended by Artistic Director of BISD after the review of the photos and videos.
Time Commitment: one or two weeks (4 hours every day) and studio performance/recital at the end of the course.

Classes run from 9:00 am 2:00 pm daily (Mon – Fri) for two weeks, July 10 – 21, 2017 Studio Performance: July 21, 2017.

Girls: Blue or Black color leotard. Students may wear any plain thin white socks or Ballet Pink Tights. Ballet Pink Ballet Slippers. Boys: White Short – Sleeved Leotard. Black Bike Shorts. White Ankle Socks – Student may wear any plain thin white socks. White Ballet Slipper.

Tuition: 1 week $300     2 weeks $500

July 10 – 21, 2017 Intermediate levels I – II  Ages 11 – 13

Classes run from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm daily (Mon-Fri), July 10 – 21, 2017,  Studio performance/recital will take place on July 21, 2017.

Tuition: 1 week $350     2 weeks $600

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.

Austeja PozaInternational – in this course will participate students from Europe.

This expanded Profesional program (5 hours a day) provides knowledge and skills of ballet fundamentals. On these basics, the students will build technique, health and beauty in the future. During the two weeks we will learn the correct posture (Barre, Center); the correct positions of the feet and arm; coordination of working and stable body parts. Epaulement, En Face meaning and how to use it correctly. Barre and Center ballet workout basics. Jumps: the right-off and different types of ballet jumps. Turns: half turn, full turn basics. Pointe: basics. Character dance: Spanish, Slavic, character arm positions, feet positions, jumps. The classical variation. The French type compulsory variation. The professional photo shoot will provide feedback as well as memories from the Summer Intensive!

Age range: 11 – 13. Participation in a course only by audition. Please sent the photo (see example) and video (optional, please choose what you want to share, 5-7 minutes)

 

Time Commitment:  (5 hours every day) and Studio performance/recital at the end of the course. (There are opportunities for students to arrive early)

Students of all levels accepted after selecting by appropriate level. July 31 – August 11, 2017  Intermediate level III / Advanced. Ages 12+

Classes run from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm daily 6 hours  (Mon-Fri), July 31 – August 11, 2017,  Studio performance/recital will take place on August 11, 2017.

Tuition: 1 week $ 470     2 weeks $ 800

A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration.

Advanced SummerPrecise, rigorous and passionatly creative training program with Egle Spokaite, designed for motivated dancers ages 12 – 18. Classes: Ballet technique, Body strengthening and stretching; Pointe technique, Character dance, Contemporary, Variation, Ballet repertoire. Age Range: 12+. We will ask you to sent a photo in 1 arabesque. Video: 7-15 min of student regular ballet (dance) routine practice or performance, variation (optional). At the beginning of the video please say you name and age. Dancers must include the photo in the first arabesque (see example in audition requirement) with their registration form. Time Commitment: two weeks (10 days, 6 hours every day) and Studio performance/recital at the end of the course. What to Bring to the class
